The Claddagh Irish Pub permanently closes

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 2 — COVID-19 has claimed yet another Greater Lansing restaurant. The Claddagh Irish Pub, located in the Eastwood Towne Center, announced today via its Facebook page that it is permanently closing its doors.

The Claddagh's previous Facebook announcement in March indicated that it was “suspending operations until further notice.” The latest update clarifies the restaurant will not return.

“Good afternoon! Effective today we will not be reopening. The management and staff would like to thank all our loyal friends, regulars and patrons over the years for stopping in and supporting us,” said Claddagh management in today's Facebook post. “The friendships we made will not be forgotten and we all look forward to crossing paths in the future. Once again we thank you for your support! Stay safe!”
